Gail Damerow lives on a farm in Tennessee, where she and her husband keep poultry and dairy goats, tend a sizable garden, and maintain a small orchard. Gail has authored more than a dozen books, including What’s Killing My Chickens?, The Chicken Health Handbook, and Storey’s Guide to Raising Chickens. She also blogs for Cackle Hatchery, and has made numerous contributions to MOTHER EARTH NEWS over the years, including serving as a contributing editor for the magazine.
